The Playlist Badge.
To earn the "Playlist" badge the applicant must film, upload and submit a full play through of ten songs. Each song must be a minimum of three minutes long and must reflect the students playing standard.
The purpose of this badge is to encourage our students to work towards a larger project or body or work. Putting songs in context, like an album or a playlist will enhance the experience for both artist and audience.
Get Your Tracks Ready
- Pick the songs you are going to record.
- Check the songs with your teacher to make sure they are reflective of your playing and style.
- Get your audio/video recording device ready and working.
- Practice!
Record Your Tracks
- Be recording ready on your songs. ie. No mistakes or glaring issues.
- Warm up before the recording.
- Double check your recording gear is ready and working before starting.
- You can record to video or audio.
Submit Your Tracks
- Upload your playlist somewhere public (youtube, soundcloud etc.)
- Send the link to [email protected]
- We will judge your playlist both on the content of the recorded material and the quality of the recordings.
